At BaselWorld-2017, the updated Aqua collection's jewelry instantly became the focus of everyone's attention, the key symbol of which was the famous Yin and Yang sign. The author of the new collection is Alexandra Chudakova, a creative designer and leading jewelry designer at the Carrera y Carrera House's Moscow office. Alexandra is a unique specialist with a bright talent and a professional view of the nature of metal and stones' properties. Thanks to her extensive experience and extraordinary abilities, Alexandra Chudakova masterfully weaves the virtues of materials into the artistic design of jewelry.
In the new pieces of the Aqua collection, the designer continued the brand's legendary pattern, which embodies the power of the element of water. Alexandra endowed precious stones with extraordinary magical power and, with their help, created exclusive precious Carrera y Carrera talismans, giving their owners a powerful energy charge and the correct flow of positive energy. The new Aqua collection is distinguished by unique combinations of materials - yellow or white gold with dark onyx and light mother-of-pearl, framing numerous variations of diamonds and other precious stones.
Experienced jewelry house technologist Alexander Chudakova diversified the Aqua collection with unique performance characteristics, namely reversibility. This means that all the presented items, except for stud earrings, have "light" and "dark" sides. Depending on the time of day and the dress-code of the event, rings, earrings, and pendants of the updated Aqua collection can be worn differently.
For the exclusivity, innovative approach, and conceptuality of the created Aqua collection, Alexandra Chudakova was awarded a diploma of the winner in the nomination "The best jewelry design developments".
The second updated collection presented at BaselWorld-2017 was Circulos de Fuego jewelry. This is one of the most recognizable lines of the brand over the years. The inspiration for Circulos de Fuego jewelry's creation was the ancient Chinese legend of the dragon flame, which turns any metal into a precious one. Now the designers and jewelers of Carrera y Carrera have added new jewelry storylines to the collection - these are mini sculptures made of white gold with green, yellow, and white diamonds, as well as yellow gold with sapphires. And the new products of the sub-collection The Kiss of the Dragon continued to play around with full-fledged images of the mythical dragon and its individual elements, for example, thorns on the back. Jewelry collectors and respected industry experts have named the new pieces of the renewed Circulos de Fuego collection the Spanish House's pride.
